From Idea to Reality: The Evolution of A North Georgia Community Mediation Center (ANGCMC)

November 16, 2021

It has been a very trying road. Since we started last November 2020 with the idea of how to provide services and work together with other organizations doing the same, but instead of competing, work in the best interest of Peacebuilding by providing assistance where the community needs it.

Where those with conflicts and grievances among each other as well with the government or others they can go to talk about it with disregard of the differences of opinion that we may have.

Still, eventually, we all will need each other. When we react with violence, we all get hurt by the one we acted upon and those we love, and when someone dies as a result of that action, everyone loses, including you and those you love.

We can work together; it is easier and less expensive than destroying each other.
